Environmentalist Gift Packages

One of the best ways to make those that we love happy is through gift giving. To make our gifts look nice, we wrap them in colorful gift packages and stick labels on them. However, if we evaluate this situation in terms of environmental pollution, we see that these materials are going to end up becoming garbage since they are not reusable.

It is possible to use sustainable products for packaging. You can produce environmentally friendly alternatives in creative ways, the options are endless! Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

  • You can customize your gift wrapping by drawing different patterns on unbleached paper as unbleached paper has less of a carbon emission usage.
  • If you have extra fabric that you don’t know what to do with, you can use it to wrap your gifts. Colorful fabrics will look just as spectacular as wrapping paper.
  • If you don’t have enough fabric to wrap the whole gift, you can also cut the fabric into strips and use them as ribbons. A cute bow will elevate the look of the gift.
  • Instead of wrapping your gift, put them in a glass jar or a metal box. This way you can even reuse the packaging.
  • You can use dried flowers and tree branches to decorate the package.
  • Ribbons that are laying around your home can be used to decorate your gifts and make them look nicer.
  • Dried products such as dried orange pieces and cinnamon will both personalize your gift and make it look more special.

As you can see, there are no limits! By using your imagination and whatever you have on hand, you can make really original and environmentally friendly  gift wrappings for your loved ones!
